Amra Aparajita – Women’s Forum

Amra Aparajita is the women’s forum of the Bengali Association of Kentucky, dedicated to fostering connection, unity, and mutual support within the Bengali community from both India and Bangladesh in and around Kentucky. The name Aparajita means “unconquered” or “undefeated,” symbolizing the strength, resilience, and enduring spirit of women.
This vibrant group plays a central role in organizing and planning many of the Association’s cultural, social, and charitable events. Beyond event coordination, Amra Aparajita actively engages in volunteer work and community service—running community kitchens, supporting Bengali families during challenging times, and lending a helping hand whenever there is a need.
Their initiatives not only celebrate Bengali traditions and culture but also build a strong support network where members share resources, form lasting friendships, and uplift one another. Through creativity, teamwork, and dedication, Amra Aparajita continues to be a driving force in preserving cultural heritage while strengthening the bonds of the Bengali community in Kentucky.
